This blog has been featured on CSSMania today, and I’m getting a load of visitors who surely don’t understand a bit of spanish. Well, hey! I’m writting this post for you.

First, I’m a 30 year-old mexican web / UI designer who works for a software development company in Ciudad Obregón, at the northwest of México. I also run Paskola, a small creative studio focused on functional web design and I also write for Geek & Roll, a weblog on technology.

The new theme of this blog, which I presume is why you’re here, is based on a four-five colum grid and is switched based on the width of your browser window. The inspiration comes from subtraction and duopixel, and yes, I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished here.

Cuando cambié de hosting (a finales de 2006), por pura desorganización perdí varios archivos, entre ellos el generador de excusas técnicas, un artilugio en html y javascript que sirve para generar excusas mareadoras, basado en esta tablita. Afortunadamente hace poco pude recuperarlo, y lo acabo de subir de nuevo, para todas aquellas personas que aún llegan a este sitio buscándolo. Se trata de la primera versión, sin el diseño ala web2.0 que tenía después.

Por aquello de que hay muchas páginas apuntando hacia él, la dirección viejita sigue funcionando.

Esa es la cantidad de días que han pasado desde que vi la luz por primera vez el 22 de abril de 1978. Así es, los temibles, míticos y amenazantes treintas están aquí para quedarse por diez años, así que mejor nos vamos acostumbrando. De cualquier modo ya era hora.

Y no, definitivamente no voy a publicar aquí la “reflexion” final de la película efectos secundarios, porque sigo tratando -en vano- de olvidarla.
